2026 CITIZEN OF THE YEAR AWARDS
It’s that time of the year again when we ask that you nominate those people and organisations in WHITTINGTON AND FISHERWICK who deserve recognition for community activity, environmental achievements or in some other way contribute to the life of the Parish. To make nominations please see the Council's website for the Nomination Form.
There will be 4 specific categories for nominations, namely: -
‘Resident’,
‘Young Resident (under 18)’
‘Business’,
‘Club, and Organisation of the Year’.
DEADLINE FOR NOMINATIONS
Nominations must be received by Tuesday 31st March 2026 and sent to the Parish Clerk (davidjfwalton@aol.com) detailing the reasons for your nomination(s).
Presentations of awards will take place at the Annual Parish Meeting, which will be held on Monday 11th May.
